Creating a PDF from your images is straightforward and takes less than a minute. Here is the complete process.

Step 1: Upload Your Images
Click the upload zone or drag and drop your images onto the page. The tool accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP, and GIF files — up to 20 images per session, each up to 25 MB. All uploaded images appear as draggable thumbnails in a grid so you can see your full document at a glance.

Step 2: Reorder Pages by Dragging
This is one of the most useful features of the tool. Simply drag the image thumbnails into the order you want them to appear in the PDF. This is especially helpful when you scan multiple pages of a document separately and need to arrange them in the correct sequence before generating the PDF.

Step 3: Choose Your Layout
Select "One image per page" to place each image on its own full page — ideal for photo albums, document scans, and multi-page certificates. Select "Grid on single page" to arrange all images in a 2, 3, or 4-column grid on a single PDF page — useful for passport photo sheets, product catalogs, and compact reference documents.

Step 4: Configure Page Settings
Choose your page size from A4 (most common for documents), A3 (for larger prints), Letter (standard in the USA), Legal, or enter fully custom dimensions in cm, mm, or inches. Select orientation — Auto detects the best fit for each image, Portrait forces vertical pages, and Landscape forces horizontal. Choose a margin size from None, Small, Medium, or Large depending on how much spacing you want around your images.

Step 5: Set Target PDF Size (Optional)
If the submission portal has a maximum file size such as "PDF must be under 2 MB," enter that value in the KB or MB field. The tool compresses the JPEG quality of images inside the PDF to meet your target precisely without exceeding it.

Step 6: Generate and Download
Click "Generate PDF." The tool builds your PDF entirely in the browser using jsPDF — no server upload required. Once complete, optionally rename the file and click Download PDF to save it to your device.

For the cleanest document PDF, use JPG images scanned at a consistent angle and crop them before uploading. Straight, well-cropped scans look significantly more professional than tilted or over-bordered photos.

When combining multiple document pages — such as a multi-page certificate or a booklet — scan each page separately, upload all at once, and use the drag-to-reorder feature to arrange them in the correct sequence before generating.

For government and bank submissions, A4 portrait with a small margin produces the most accepted format. If the portal specifies a file size limit, always use the target size field rather than trying to manually compress images beforehand — the tool handles this automatically.

For passport photo sheets or ID card layouts, use the Grid layout with 2 or 4 columns on A4 — this is the standard format accepted by most photo printing shops.
